and means:

 (cont.)  You inserted a test strip drum from

a different blood glucose monitoring

system.

 Press the Test button to turn the

meter off. Insert an Accu-Chek

Compact test strip drum.

 The bar code on the test strip drum

is damaged.

To troubleshoot, see error message

E-3.

A meter error has occurred.

 Press the Test button to turn the me-

ter off and then on again. If the error

message persists, please contact the

Accu-Chek customer care line (see

Chapter 14 “Local customer support

and service”).

This message/symbol

appears…

and means:

During a data download both arrows fail

to start flashing. The meter turns itself

off after 5 minutes and the PC, hand-

held computer or the Accu-Chek Smart

Printer System also displays an error

message.

 A download error occurred.

 Start the download again.

 A strong light source is too close to

the two infrared windows.

 Move away from the light source

and start the download again.


